The Research Station of the Institute of Plant, Animal and Agroecosystem Sciences (IPAS)

The research station in Lindau-Eschikon offers all members of the Institute the opportunity to conduct research experiments. 

Excellent greenhouses and laboratories, as well as plant growth chambers for work on diseases and pests, are at the professors’ disposal. There is also a small experimental area in the field.

Furthermore, the research station is important for the exercises and field trips that are organized for the students. Within the scope of the cooperation between the Cantonal Agricultural School “Strickhof” it is possible to inspect the fields belonging to the school and, in return, students at the “Strickhof” have the opportunity to visit the research laboratories of the IPAS.
