Prof. Nina Buchmann has been elected as an international member of the National Academy of Sciences
The National Academy of Sciences (NAS) announced on April 29, 2025, that 120 U.S. members and 30 international members have been elected.

Among these distinguished individuals is Nina Buchmann, Professor of Grassland Sciences. This membership serves as a recognition of exceptional and ongoing contributions to basic research. Being elected to the NAS is widely regarded as one of the highest honors a scientist can achieve.
